We’re building a movement around clean energy, and we’re looking for a creative, trend-savvy Social Media & Community Intern to bring our brand to life online and grow our presence on TikTok and Instagram.

Role Overview

This part-time role combines creative storytelling, social media savvy, and community engagement. You’ll capture behind-the-scenes moments, edit trend-forward videos, and help KEY stay connected with its community. If you love TikTok, Instagram, and know how to make content that feels fun, authentic, and shareable—you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Editing

Film and edit short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram (daily lifestyle content, behind-the-scenes, events, activations).

Edit videos in KEY’s voice using trending sounds, transitions, and captions (CapCut, TikTok, or Instagram native tools).

Brainstorm new content ideas and identify trending opportunities.

Post 2–3x per day on TikTok and 3-4x per week on Instagram.

Community Management

Repost all community tags (IG Stories + TikTok mentions).

Engage daily on TikTok and Instagram by liking, commenting, and interacting with creators and community members. (~2–3 hours per week).

Comment on tags and nurture KEY’s community presence authentically.

Collaboration & Growth

Share drafts and incorporate team feedback before publishing content.

Join KEY’s team at the Flatiron office 1–2x per week, plus attend 3–5 activations or events per month for live content.

Who You Are

Based in NYC, able to travel for office time and activations.

Comfortable being both behind and in front of the camera.

Strong understanding of TikTok & Instagram culture, trends, and storytelling formats.

Skilled with editing tools (CapCut, TikTok, IG Reels).

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment.

Excellent communicator who can juggle multiple projects.

Bonus Points If You:

Have experience in health, wellness, fitness, or nightlife.

Have worked with startups, consumer brands, or creator-led companies.

Are passionate about biohacking, wellness, or lifestyle content.
