
Project Engineer Intern
Brady West NorCal is seeking motivated Project Engineer Interns to join our team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in specialty subcontracting, support project managers and learn how to deliver projects with quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Contract document management: including, but not limited to updating contract drawings and specifications, RFI and change management (i.e., ASIs, Bulletins, RFQs) and submittals
Scanning and uploading documents and emails onto OnBase
Soliciting quotes from Suppliers, Vendors and Subcontractors
Management of job specific subcontractor related documents as applicable
Creating submittals packages; including, but not limited to creating cover sheets, obtaining product data, maintenance information, SDS sheets, LEED letters, and shop drawings
Assisting with forecasting / cost analysis
Research and cost analysis of new products and manufacturers
Producing cost breakdowns / color coded drawings
Assisting with change order takeoff / pricing
Drafting and submitting RFI’s
Assisting with QA process
Assisting with job close-out process
- Calculate unit costs based on quantity of material installed, hours worked, and labor dollars
- Attend and participate in all required company training programs
- Conform to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in Construction Management, Engineering, or other related field program
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Eager to learn and apply project management principles in real-world settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with project management software is a plus
- No prior experience required, this is an entry-level, learning-focused opportunity
