Experience Requirements and Skills 

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Have a willingness to learn and be coachable. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF, Outlook. 

 

Commercial sales interns work closely with commercial producers, assisting in various tasks. Those tasks include making calls, conducting research, updating databases, attending carrier and client meetings, shadowing producers on meetings with prospects, learning about the commercial insurance industry, attending networking events to learn the art of networking, among other tasks.
