Human Resources Intern

Astemo is looking for an individual to join our team as a Human Resources Recruiting Intern at the Muncie, IN location.

In this role, and under the direct supervision of HR Manager and/or their team, the Intern will support Human Resource functions as they related to plant operations. The purpose of this position is to assist and provide administrative support to various functions of the Human Resources Department.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

Assigned project for completion during duration of Internship.

Admin duties, data entry, clerical support

Day to day department project activity

Assist with associate activities

Assist with recruiting, new hire process including orientation and onboarding

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

  • Available to work up to 40+ hours per week during the summer and up to 30 hours per week during the academic year, as agreed upon for the internship period.
  • Must have transportation to and from Muncie, IN facility- Not a remote position
  • Working on associate or bachelor's degree or have been accepted into and planning to attend a post-secondary education facility for HR, Administration, Management, Business/Marketing or similar programs.

Software:

  • Personal computer
