About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager / Analyst to help design, build, and launch OCInsights’ first data-driven intelligence product. You’ll work closely with the CEO to define data models, analyze industry trends, and deliver insight products that shape strategic investment and corporate decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Design data architecture and define key data sources for OCInsights’ analytics platform.
• Track global expansion trends across technology and manufacturing sectors.
• Build dashboards and quarterly data briefs highlighting industrial and geographic patterns.
• Research hiring, policy, and investment signals to identify emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop prototype data products.
• Engage with investment and corporate strategy teams to test product concepts.
• Translate complex data into clear visuals and executive-ready insights.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Industrial Engineering, International Business, etc.
• 2+ years of experience in Market intelligence, consulting, or research (e.g., McKinsey, CB Insights, PitchBook, IHS).
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin — strong English communication and capable of reading Chinese business and data sources.
• Data analytics or product roles in technology, manufacturing, or alternative data firms.
• Strong skills in SQL / Python / Tableau for analytics and visualization; Data storytelling and report design for executive audiences.
• Profund understanding of global technology, supply-chain, or manufacturing trends.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
• (Bonus) Experience with web-scraping, NLP, or data automation.
