Marketing Intern

Duration: 5 weeks | Hours: 10–15 hrs/week | Stipend: $400 | Location: Hybrid (primarily remote, with 2 in-person days at The Music Center, Los Angeles)

Join the marketing team behind a cutting-edge immersive performance premiering at The Music Center in Los Angeles. This short-term internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of art, culture, and emerging media. You’ll collaborate with the award-winning agency Big Smile Co. and a team of multidisciplinary artists to bring a live experience to life through storytelling, social content, and community engagement.

What You’ll Do

Shape the Campaign: Contribute to strategy and content for a high-profile arts launch, from teaser concepts to audience engagement.

Create & Curate: Write captivating captions, edit short-form videos, and craft visual assets for social channels.

Engage Audiences: Manage interactive posts and conversations across social media platforms leading up to the show.

Cover the Event: Support live coverage during the performance (onsite or remote) to connect audiences in real time.

Write & Report: Draft concise email updates and recap newsletters; track analytics to measure reach and impact.

Who You Are

Undergraduate student (Junio–Senior) majoring in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Media, or Design.

Skilled writer with a knack for concise, compelling social content.

Comfortable using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or social scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).

Passionate about arts, culture, and immersive experiences.

Organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
