
AltTaxPlans 2026 Tax Apprenticeship Program (Remote)
AltTaxPlans is offering a fully sponsored Tax Apprenticeship Program for 30 students majoring in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Marketing. SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY
This apprenticeship provides remote, hands-on experience in professional tax operations under the supervision of a licensed IRS Enrolled Agent.
Participants receive comprehensive training, mentoring, and exposure to modern software and workflow tools.
Program Timeline
- Training: November 2025 – January 10, 2026
- Active Tax Season: January 15 – April 15, 2026
- Workload: 15–25 hours per week (flexible, remote)
Learning Areas
Accounting / Tax Track
- Prepare and review individual and self-employed returns (Form 1040 & Schedule C)
- Assist with document management and data entry
- Apply accuracy and compliance procedures using modern software
Business Operations Track
- Support scheduling, workflow, and client communication
- Maintain CRM data and assist with reporting
Marketing Track
- Contribute to social-media and digital-outreach projects
- Analyze campaign results and support lead-generation initiatives
Finance Track
- Help track budgets, metrics, and financial summaries
Compensation & Sponsorship
This is a sponsored apprenticeship with performance-based earnings.
AltTaxPlans covers all start-up costs for each participant, including:
- AFSP Tax Preparer Training ($54 value)
- IRS PTIN Registration ($18.75 value)
- Professional Tax Software ($149 value)
Top performers typically earn $5,000 – $15,000+ during the tax season while gaining professional experience and mentorship.
Written recommendation letters are provided for juniors and seniors seeking post-graduation employment.
Eligibility
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior majoring in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Marketing
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Laptop and reliable internet connection required
