Content Creation Contractor (TikTok + Reels)

Location: Remote (U.S. preferred)

Contract Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: $300/month flat | Part-time | ~10 hrs/week

SKIP IT. is a trauma-informed mental health tech startup helping people skip triggering or distressing scenes in shows and movies. We’re reimagining streaming for emotional safety, and we’re looking for a creative short-form video creator to help bring that mission to life across TikTok and Instagram.

✨ What You’ll Do

  • Create 4–5 short-form videos per week (TikToks or Reels)
  • Brainstorm and storyboard ideas with the founder and team
  • Edit and format videos for multi-platform posting (TikTok + IG) -- we can also get you/provide editing support
  • Participate in trend research and brand storytelling development
  • Optional: appear on camera or help with Canva visuals
  • Editing support provided if needed, collaboration is encouraged!

✅ Requirements

  • Experience creating viral or high-quality short-form videos (personal, freelance, or brand-based)
  • Comfortable using tools like CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Premiere Rush
  • Familiar with social trends, storytelling hooks, and retention tactics
  • Emotionally aware, reliable, and open to feedback
  • Able to communicate clearly and meet deadlines independently
