We are looking for highly motivated students to join our team as a Finance & Accounting Interns from May-August 2026.

As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you’ll gain hands-on, real-world experience at a global manufacturing company where finance doesn’t just track the numbers, it drives the business. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals across Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Business Unit Finance, contributing to projects that strengthen decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic growth.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Intern assignments are based on business needs, interests, and development goals. Here's a snapshot of the experiences you might gain:

Corporate Accounting

Assist with the monthly close process—journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Learn the ins and outs of balance sheet reconciliation and variance analysis.

Use SAP BPC to support internal reporting and planning.

Fixed Assets

Play a key role in closing out capital projects, ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting treatment.

Support asset audits with internal departments and update records in the Fixed Asset System.

Facilitate asset retirements or transfers, ensuring accurate asset management.

Business Unit Finance Support

Conduct post-audits on capital expenditure projects—dig into the data to evaluate whether major investments delivered the promised results and help tell the story of impact behind the numbers.

Create dashboards and reporting tools in Excel and Power BI to improve visibility into productivity, cost drivers, and P&L performance.

Analyze financial and operational trends to identify performance improvement opportunities.

What you should have:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3.0 GPA or higher preferred.

On track to graduate within the next 1–2 years.

Passionate about working in manufacturing finance or accounting—from operations to analytics.

Strong communication skills and a desire to work both independently and in team settings.

Curious, proactive, and eager to apply what you've learned in the classroom to real business scenarios.

Compensation and Benefits:

Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay. The starting base pay range for this position is $21/hour - $24/hour and may vary based type of position and school seniority.

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data, and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks.  Work may be performed in company’s setting, home, or hybrid
