Lab Technician- QC

Responsibilities:

• Assist chemists in performing routine analytical tests of pharmaceutical samples.
• Prepare solutions, reagents, buffers needed for analysis.
• Utilize basic instruments such as, but not limited to, analytical balance, pH meter etc.
• Prepare the inventory of lab supplies and order/re-order as necessary. The ordering includes preparing purchase orders and coordinating with purchasing department.
• Responsible for waste disposal as per requirements.
• Comply with laboratory SOPs and cGMP regulations. He/she shall work in compliance with laboratory SOPs and cGMPs as they relate to the QC Laboratory.
• Must be able to use software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other such relevant software packages.
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and others in the laboratory. Help in assuring that all safety information such as SDS are available for all lab personnel.
• Assist in performing such metrology functions as instrument/system troubleshooting, calibration and qualifications.
• Keep the working place clean and tidy.
• Well organized, willing to learn new skills and adapting to a broad spectrum of responsibilities.
• Performs any additional task as instructed by supervisor.
• Provide all the necessary assistance in pharmaceutical analysis laboratory.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school / Diploma or equivalent.
