POSITION: Wealth Management Intern
TIME PERIOD: Fall and Spring Semester
PREFERRED SKILLSETS: Proficient Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Good Communication Skills, Organizational Skills, and a General Understanding of How the Stock Market and Economy Operate.
- Required: Pass the Security Industry Essentials (SIE) within 4 Weeks of Hire
- Prepare segment and security reports and provides analyses for senior leaders that inform decision-making.
- Utilize the Bloomberg terminal, as well as Zacks, CNBC Pro, Seeking Alpha and Wall Street Journal/Barrons resources to research various investments.
- Compile information on prospective clients and aids in marketing campaigns.
- During the internship, students will receive their Bloomberg Markets Concept Certificate. This certificate demonstrates their knowledge on the Bloomberg research terminal used to analyze markets and investments.
- Formatting and sorting excel worksheets.
- Assisting with the creation and delivery of Greenbridge’s marketing pieces, targeting prospects for the firm.
- Keeping up to date with important market news and headlines. Keeping track of the various stock market index performance and relaying this information to the rest of the team.
- During the internship, the student will have the opportunity to speak with many industry professionals, including but not limited to insurance agents, CPA’s, estate planning attorneys, and many more.
- Investment research including-securities analysis, reading periodicals, journals and trade publications, learning about balance sheets and income statements
