Social Media Intern

The Office of the Bergen County Executive is seeking a social media and digital communications intern for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is an in-person, paid, part-time position with room for growth.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Assist with frequent posting on social media platforms.
  • Create and maintain systems to organize content, including photos, videos, and written materials.
  • Draft remarks for events and public communications.
  • Assist in content creation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently in final year of pursuing/recently received a bachelor's degree or equivalent in public relations, journalism, communications, digital media, political science, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with social media and understanding of best practices.
  • Experience with video editing and/or graphic design is a plus.
