Full-time; 37.5 hours per week
ABA’s Internship provides students with a paid opportunity to work with one of the biggest trade associations in Washington, DC. This extremely selective opportunity provides students with the opportunity to do substantial work in various divisions across ABA, connect with leadership, build a network, and make a difference.
Primary Responsibilities
Assessment Audit: Conduct a comprehensive review of self-paced learning assessments to ensure instructional soundness, consistency in question format, and alignment with learning objectives.
Content Quality Review: Identify inconsistencies across ABA’s self-paced course catalog and prepare recommendations for instructional design updates in FY25.
Project Support: Assist in the development and revision of training materials, including course descriptions, learning objectives, and assessment items.
Research & Benchmarking: Support research on instructional design trends, tools, and technologies to inform future product enhancements.
Required Skills
Strong interest in adult learning, instructional design, or training development.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Docebo, Cornerstone) and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline) is a plus.
Ability to report into ABA headquarters located in Washington, DC, at least two-times per week (relocation assistance or stipend is not included for the intern program). Internship positions are not eligible for healthcare insurance coverage.
Minimum Education Requirements
Major Field of Study: Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Education, Human Resources, or related field
Grad student ($30.00 an hour)
