Operations Lead

Head of Operations

Location: Palo Alto, CA (Full-time, On-site or Hybrid)
Experience: 3–5+ years in operations, preferably in fast-growing technology or venture-backed environments

The Role

As Operations Lead, you’ll  design and execute the company’s operational backbone—building processes, managing cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring the business runs smoothly as we scale. You’ll work closely with the CEO and leadership team across product, finance, HR, partnerships, and investor relations to bring clarity, accountability, and efficiency to every corner of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Strategy & Execution: 

Business Operations: Oversee key functions such as finance, HR, recruiting, vendor management, legal coordination, and office operations.

Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and automate recurring workflows to increase team productivity and operational visibility.

Team Coordination: Manage cross-functional projects and ensure effective communication between engineering, product, partnerships, and leadership teams.

Budgeting & Reporting: Support financial planning, forecasting, and KPI tracking to ensure data-driven decision-making and capital efficiency.

People & Culture: Help shape a high-performance, values-driven culture by implementing scalable people processes, onboarding systems, and performance frameworks.

Strategic Projects: Lead high-impact initiatives—from investor readiness and partnership operations to launch readiness and scaling playbooks.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in operations, business strategy, or program management—ideally within a startup or high-growth technology company.

Proven track record of designing and improving systems and processes across departments.

Strong project management skills; able to juggle competing priorities and drive complex initiatives from concept to execution.

Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and operational metrics.

Excellent communication and organizational skills; thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Familiarity with finance, HR, and legal fundamentals; experience working with external vendors and advisors.

High degree of ownership, adaptability, and startup hustle.

Bonus Points

Exposure to customer relations, investor reporting, or venture operations.

Background in consulting, finance, or startup founding.
