About Do No Harm
Do No Harm is a membership nonprofit made up of physicians, nurses, medical students, patients, and policymakers focused on keeping identity politics out of medical education, research and clinical practice. We believe in making healthcare better for all – not undermining it in pursuit of a political agenda. Do No Harm seeks to highlight and counteract divisive trends in medicine, such as “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” and youth-focused gender ideology.
Position Overview
Do No Harm is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Policy, Marketing, and Research Interns to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in communications, content development, public outreach, research, and policy analysis, while contributing to a meaningful cause. Job duties may include:
• Conduct research on initiatives related to DEI and youth-focused gender issues.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, white papers, and policy briefs that reflect the organization's positions and recommendations.
• Assist in drafting and editing blog posts.
• Monitor legislative developments and media coverage of relevant healthcare issues.
• Collaborate with the communications team to support public outreach and engagement strategies.
• Support the team in maintaining databases and resource libraries.
• Assist in planning and executing webinars, panel discussions, and other virtual events.
• Provide logistical support for events with policymakers, healthcare leaders, and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• “Can do” attitude that embraces continuing learning.
• Precise attention to detail.
• High level of discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Firm belief in equality before the law and a healthcare system that focuses on individual patients rather than identity politics.
