Community Engagement Specialist: CHCM, AmeriCorps Member (Full-Time January  - August)

Community Health Corps Montana (CHCM) is an AmeriCorps program hosted by the Montana Office of Rural Health & AHEC. We’re connecting passionate people like you with organizations across the state to strengthen community health, expand partnerships, and make a real difference for Montana.

Whether your background is in health, communications, marketing, education, or public service, this is your chance to launch your career through hands-on service, professional training, and mentorship.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve full-time (January 12–August 21, 2026) with a Montana-based organization such as a clinic, nonprofit, or community coalition. You might:
  • Support community outreach and education on mental health, chronic disease, or social services.
  • Create campaigns or communication materials to connect people to local resources.
  • Help strengthen partnerships and data systems that make services work better for everyone.
  • Organize events, projects, and collaborations that bring communities together.

You’ll gain real-world experience, professional development, and ongoing support — including monthly check-ins, statewide trainings, and peer collaboration through MORH/AHEC.
