Marketing Intern

Job Description:    Marketing Intern                                    

The CMM Group, a respected supplier of air pollution control systems, process equipment such as dryers and ovens and other industrial equipment and services to its customers in a variety of industrial markets, is seeking a Marketing Intern to support our Team. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and/or update display/print ads, brochures, sales literature, email campaigns, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining CRM, such as data entry
  • Market to a range of B2B buyers using a wide variety of offers (white papers, case studies, webcasts) and delivery mechanisms (emails, call downs, and direct mail).
    • Assist in organizing for trade shows, customer demos and events
  • Organize and monitor trade show budget and calendar of meetings
  • Monitor competition marketing and positioning and summarize results of competitive intelligence on a quarterly basis

 

Digital Marketing 

  • Assist with the design, development and maintenance of company websites
  • Develop a social media strategy and maintain social media presence
  • Assist external resources to maintain Search Engine Optimization (SEO) programs to maximize ROI on marketing spend

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Prior experience in capital equipment a plus.  In addition, the following qualifications are a plus:

  • High School degree or equivalent, current enrollment in associate’s or bachelors degree program in marketing or business administration
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles, creative, and a willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in common office software, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Internet marketing and social media experience
  • Ability to make presentations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Works well in teams
  • Outgoing personality
  • Excellent verbal presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ability to interface with various business sectors
