E-Learning Design Intern

Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Training Department is seeking a E-Learning Design Intern for the company’s Onalaska campus. The primary responsibility of this coworker is to work with Kwik Trip’s E-Learning Designer to assist in the design and development of highly engaging Kwik Trip e-Learning content and multi-media training including assisting the Kwik Trip Learning Management System (LMS) administration team as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Research, design, and develop online and computer-based training content for Kwik Trip’s retail stores
  • Visualize and apply instructional graphics to enhance the user experience
  • Assist Kwik Trip’s Human Capital Management system administration team with developing and managing Kwik Trip’s Learning Management System to ensure the system has accurate and up-to-date data and training programs as well as content management
  • Design and develop procedural manuals and written instructions (job aids) for use by Kwik Trip’s retail stores
  • Support and troubleshoot the existing e-learning platform

Qualifications: 

  • Pursing a degree in Instructional, Graphic Design, Education, Marketing, Communication or Business
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Accurate/detail orientated
  • Strong consulting skills and ability to communicate with various levels of subject matter experts
  • Skilled in video planning/development, capturing video and editing
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent multi-tasking ability while managing multiple projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self – motivated

Candidates should have proven knowledge with the following: 

  • Software programs, computers, and mobile devices (Microsoft Office, Windows, MAC)
  • Video, digital photography, video equipment, and editing software to incorporate with e-learning
  • Audio/sound editing equipment and related software
  • Graphic/photo software to support content development
  • Teaching techniques and delivery methods for e-learning
  • AICC and SCORM e-learning standards
  • Scanners, speakers, wireless microphones, digital camcorders, and SLR cameras
  • Proofreading for spelling and grammatical errors

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
