Position Summary
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized Environmental Reporting Specialist to manage Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) submissions for our global clients. You’ll coordinate reporting timelines, validate and process data, and ensure accurate and timely submissions to regulatory authorities.
This role blends project coordination and regulatory compliance with analytical problem-solving. You’ll work closely with Client Managers and a European-based colleague to maintain high-quality reporting standards across multiple countries. Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Compliance
- Manage the full cycle of EPR report submissions — organizing deadlines, collecting and validating data, and submitting to national and international authorities.
- Ensure all reporting data meets accuracy and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain documentation and confirmations for audits and compliance tracking.
Process & Data Management
- Use Excel, Power BI, Python, and AI-driven tools to organize, validate, and improve reporting workflows.
- Develop and maintain tracking dashboards to monitor submission timelines and identify risks.
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date information in registration portals and Accerio’s internal database.
Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate with Client Managers to ensure complete and timely data collection.
- Work closely with the European Reporting Specialist to align global processes and share best practices.
- Communicate proactively about progress, issues, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Participate in limited client communication to clarify data or submission details.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to balance multiple reporting deadlines.
- Proven ability to manage structured, detail-intensive projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation, dashboards; VBA/macros a plus).
- Experience with Power BI, Python, or AI-based data tools to improve workflows and insights.
- Clear communicator who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively across time zones.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Interest or experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, or regulatory reporting.
- Full-time availability on-site in our downtown Boulder office.
