Ontologist/Knowledge Engineer II

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As an Ontologist/ Knowledge Engineer II, you will:
- Design, refine and implement expansive domain ontologies for the DOD/IC
- Apply Artificial Intelligence capabilities to characterize data and deliver insights
- Design and implement Semantic Technologies for intelligence integration
- Utilize advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in complex data and deliver recommendations for business and analytic decisions
- Advise on user applications and graph database design and implementations
- Work in a SCI Facility is required with some opportunities for remote work
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- U.S. citizen eligible for a TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass a CI polygraph
- Bachelor’s Degree in data science, computer science, software engineering, or field applicable to the position required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 3+ years of experience working with Ontologies
- Experience with Ontology tools, Graph Databases and other Semantic Technologies
- Experience with RDF, OWL, JSON, XML or similar languages
- Ability to work with a team to establish requirements and milestones for projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high visibility environment
DESIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass a CI polygraph
- Experience designing domain-based ontologies for the DOD/IC
- Experience utilizing Machine Learning methods and tools
- Experience utilizing Python and Jupyter Notebooks
