Senior Applications Lab Chemist
Kobo Products, Inc. located in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking an organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Applications Lab Chemist to join our team.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioscience, or Biology required
- Strong experience working with colors required
- 5+ yrs. experience in formulating color cosmetics including lipsticks, foundation, pressed and loose powder; knowledge of skin care, sun care, and hair care products is a plus
- Knowledge of cosmetic regulations and safety required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication/presentation and multi-tasking skills required
- Excellent computer skills required
- Some domestic and international travel required to support tradeshows and customer visits
Responsibilities Include:
- Help to develop new raw materials for unique products
- Train and assist technicians, chemists, and temporary personnel on formulating cosmetic products including all colored cosmetics, hair care, sun care and personal care as necessary
