Position Summary: Manage the daily functions of Talent Management and provide high-level administrative support to ensure daily department operations are carried out efficiently. Prepare district reports, inter-departmental communications, process information requests, and perform clerical functions such as invoicing and purchasing, preparing correspondence, receiving
visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings/agenda. Coordinate and manage small projects to support the functions of the Talent Management team. Provide direct administrative support to the Talent Management leadership team. This position focuses on enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of Talent Management and Human Resources (HR)
processes related to staffing, orientation, and employee engagement. This position will help to ensure that the district attracts and retains high-quality educators and staff by providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the district not only attracts but also nurtures a talented workforce dedicated to fostering a positive
educational experience for all students in Tulsa. The Talent Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within Tulsa Public Schools, collaborating at times with school staff, district leaders, and community stakeholders to support and improve the overall talent strategy. This role will lead and manage special projects and initiatives for the Talent Management department. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for recruitment events or training sessions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
● Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, project management related field highly preferred or equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience:
● Five (5) years’ experience in administrative support, including budget and project management, operation/logistics or other related experience within human resources, human capital or personnel administration
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
● Bilingual in Spanish preferred
