Position Overview:
Gain valuable exposure to legal processes and risk management by joining our legal department. You'll assist with research, compliance, and documentation, supporting both internal and client projects. Learn how technology is transforming legal services, while developing your attention to detail and understanding of business law.
Contract & Document Review:
- Assist in reviewing and summarizing partnership agreements and contracts.
- Help track deadlines and key contract terms.
- Support drafting of standard agreements and NDAs under guidance.
- Maintain clean documentation and legal version history.
Compliance & Policy Support:
- Help update internal policies, SOPs, and legal guidelines.
- Review and edit company-facing compliance documents.
- Research best practices in business regulations and risk management.
- Support audit prep and document requests.
Legal Research & Briefing:
- Assist in conducting research on business law, employment law, and intellectual property.
- Prepare summaries, citations, and key bullet briefings.
- Help format internal legal memos or responses.
- Track updates on policy changes relevant to small businesses.
Cross-Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with HR, Sales, and Ops to ensure legal compliance across processes.
- Attend internal syncs and support communication across legal workflows.
- Help with version tracking and contract lifecycle updates.
- Support data confidentiality and protection protocol checks.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in law, pre-law, or business law.
- Strong analytical and reading comprehension skills.
- Comfortable reviewing contracts, policies, and technical documents.
- Detail-oriented and focused on accuracy.
- Organized and reliable in managing sensitive information.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with contracts, NDAs, or compliance frameworks.
- Experience with legal research tools or writing.
- Excellent documentation and communication habits.
- Interest in corporate law, compliance, or intellectual property.
This position is remote. Only candidates with reliable availability, consistent digital communication, and ability to attend live check-ins will be considered.
