NYC Holiday Market Sales Internship

Holiday Market Sales & Business Development Internship (NYC + Remote)
Dates: Onsite November 30 – December 31, 2025
Optional Remote Extension: January – March 2026
Commitment: 30–120 days total

About Adirondack Fragrance

Since 1979, Adirondack Fragrance has handcrafted candles, soaps, and natural body care products inspired by the Adirondack Mountains of New York. From our 100-acre farm, we create authentic, nature-based fragrances that bring the Adirondack Forest into everyday life.

About the Internship

This is a hands-on opportunity to learn retail sales, customer engagement, and small business operations during one of the most exciting retail seasons in New York City. Interns will gain experience in face-to-face (F2F) sales, product presentation, and brand storytelling at the Columbus Circle Holiday Market.
After the market season, interns may continue remotely (Jan–Mar) to develop skills in B2B wholesale outreach and cold-calling sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers at the holiday market booth

Share brand and product knowledge to enhance the shopping experience

Operate Shopify POS and manage transactions accurately

Restock products and maintain attractive booth displays

Support packaging and merchandising for gift sets

Observe customer trends and provide feedback on sales and pricing

Assist in wholesale lead research and outreach (optional remote phase)

What You’ll Learn

Direct-to-consumer and event-based retail sales

Merchandising, booth presentation, and visual marketing

Operations of a small artisan brand

Wholesale and remote B2B sales development

Requirements

Reliable, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor market

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Available on-site at Columbus Circle, Nov 30–Dec 31 (flexible shifts)

Interest in entrepreneurship, marketing, or sales

No prior experience necessary — training provided

Future Opportunities

Interns who perform well may continue remotely Jan–Mar 2026, focusing on wholesale and retail account development for Adirondack Fragrance.
