About the Role
We are currently seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial for supporting the firm’s business development and marketing initiatives, as well as providing essential administrative and organizational assistance to our Partners.
The Business Development Analyst will be responsible for providing critical administrative and organizational support to the partners, as well as managing supporting initiatives within the business development team. Key areas of focus for this role include scheduling, CRM/database management, and administrative workflow handling. The ideal candidate will also contribute to streamlining processes, coordinating outreach and events, and ensuring the successful execution of business development and marketing strategies. Furthermore, the role involves contributing to industry research, presentation development, and social media initiatives.
This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates (you must be ready to start this full time role in 2025) or early-career professionals seeking to establish a strong foundation in business development, marketing, and finance. The role primarily involves administrative responsibilities but provides direct mentorship from firm leadership, significant exposure to dealmaking, and clear opportunities for advancement after a two-year commitment.
What You’ll Do
Administrative Support:
- Manage Partner calendars, coordinating meetings with clients, prospects, and senior advisors.
- Track and coordinate follow-up actions for partners and the business development team.
- Maintain and update CRM and deal databases, including DealCloud, Box, and other platforms.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, and manage partner expense reports.
- Provide logistical support for webinars, client dinners, and industry events.
- NOTE: This will be 50% of the role and is critically important
Business Development & Marketing Support:
- Create and edit presentations, pitch decks, and marketing collateral using tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, and Figma.
- Conduct market, industry, and company research to support business development and deal sourcing.
- Assist with outreach efforts, including building prospect lists and tracking engagement.
- Draft and schedule social media content (primarily LinkedIn) to promote events and highlight firm expertise.
- Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Notion AI) to streamline research, drafting, and content creation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of professional experience, with internships welcomed, preferably within financial services, business development, or marketing support roles.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and deadlines, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- AI-savvy– you know how to use new tools to improve outcomes and create solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel and Powerpoint.
- Familiarity with presentation/design platforms (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides); design skills are a plus.
- Experience with CRM and document-sharing platforms (e.g., DealCloud, Box, Intralinks, Datasite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in social media, particularly LinkedIn, for professional marketing purposes.
- The ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
- A self-starting attitude with keen attention to detail and an eagerness to learn directly from senior leaders.
- An interest in the investment banking, technology, media and marketing industries.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for various benefits.
$50,000—$60.000 USD
