Corporate Communications Specialist
ThorWorks Industries is a globally recognized manufacturer of specialty coatings and equipment, equine and pet care products, and a diverse range of other brands. We are seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team at our world headquarters in Sandusky, Ohio.
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with AP Style. A degree in journalism, corporate communications, or a related field is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews and write content for newsletters and internal/external publications
- Draft press releases and other media communications
- Monitor advertising and editorial calendars
- Assist with meeting and sponsorship coordination
- Support additional public relations and marketing initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related discipline
- Strong writing and editing skills with knowledge of AP Style
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Collaborative mindset and keen attention to detail
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
- This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Sandusky, Ohio headquarters.
