General Manager – Janitorial Operations
Location: Topeka, KS (on-site, with local travel)
Reports to: District Manager
Midwest Maintenance is seeking a hands-on, results-driven General Manager to oversee janitorial operations across Topeka and surrounding areas. You will lead teams, manage client relationships, and ensure 24/7 operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and ensure top-tier service.
- Lead, schedule, train, and hold teams accountable for performance.
- Oversee labor budgets and control costs.
- Enforce safety, policy, and contract compliance.
- Respond to operational needs after hours when required.
Experience:
- 5+ years leadership in janitorial, facilities, or related services.
- Experience managing around-the-clock operations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Financial acumen for budgeting and scheduling.
- Clean driving record; valid driver’s license.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
