Social Media Intern

CKC Media is a storytelling-driven company celebrating Christ, Kindness, and Country through inspiring books, educational programs, and family entertainment. Our three flagship brands — Oliver the Ornament, Oliver Doodle Dandy Celebrates 250 Years of America, and The Kindness of Christ  are beloved by families, schools, and communities nationwide for their uplifting messages of faith, kindness, and patriotism.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Social Media Intern to help share these stories with the world.

Position Overview

The Social Media Intern will manage and grow the online presence for all three CKC Media brands across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, while also supporting posts about our school programs. This creative, mission-driven role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, design, and social engagement, and wants to make a positive impact through their work.

You’ll create engaging posts, design short-form videos, grow follower engagement, and bring new energy and creativity to our social channels.

 

Key Responsibilities

Manage and Grow Social Channels
Oversee daily posting, engagement, and content scheduling for Oliver the Ornament, Oliver Doodle Dandy, and The Kindness of Christ across Facebook and Instagram.

Develop and Launch TikTok Presence
Create and manage new TikTok accounts for each brand, producing engaging, family-friendly short-form videos that highlight our books, characters, and school programs.

Content Creation
Develop original social content (photos, short videos, reels, captions, and graphics) that captures the tone and spirit of each series.

Engagement & Growth
Increase followers, engagement, and reach through consistent posting, storytelling, and community interaction.

Campaign Coordination
Support promotional campaigns for new book releases, school programs, and seasonal initiatives.

Analytics & Insights
Track key metrics, monitor audience engagement, and recommend strategies to increase reach and performance.

 

Qualifications

Passion for faith-based, patriotic, or family-centered storytelling.

Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).

Excellent writing and visual communication skills.

Creative eye for design, photography, and short-form video.

Experience using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools (preferred but not required).

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field.

Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Compensation

This internship includes a 15% commission on all verified sales generated through social media efforts, with NO CAP on income.
