About the role:

We are looking for an Associate Data Scientist to join our Garner Health Intelligence team to help build and evolve our provider data insights. You’ll work with other data scientists, data engineers, and product managers to improve the logic and systems we use to rank providers and power our recommendations.

Where you will work:

What you will do:

  • Build and maintain data-driven algorithms to improve provider recommendations and the member search experience.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related STEM field.
  • Less than 1 year of professional experience in data science, analytics, finance, consulting, or product roles.
  • Proficiency in statistics, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality analytical work through internships, academic research, or personal projects.
  • Experience with Python or SQL, including use of common data science libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and visualization tools such as Matplotlib or Plotly), is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
