Supply Management Planner

Title: Supply Management Planner

📍 Dubuque, IA
đź•’ 12-Month Contract (Possible Extension or Internal Hire Opportunity)
💲 Hourly (W2 – SGS Payroll)
🏭 Onsite | 1st Shift: Flexible Start between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM CST
⏱️ Minimal Overtime (if required, very limited)

About the Role

We are seeking a Supply Management Planner to join our team in Rock Island, IL. In this role, you’ll help ensure material availability, support production schedules, and maintain strong supplier relationships. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams in planning, logistics, and procurement to drive key supply chain performance metrics. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply management within a global manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Execute planning and buying activities using SAP and Microsoft Excel.

Collaborate effectively with internal partners across various functions via email and phone.

Maintain attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Monitor and help achieve key metrics, including:

FILL

On-Time Delivery

FLASH & Backorder Cycle Time

Delinquencies

Support materials planning processes to ensure supply continuity and efficient operations.

Required Qualifications

Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Highly detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities.

Materials planning or buying experience preferred.

Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Open to recent graduates with relevant coursework or internship experience.

Preferred Skills

Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making.

Familiarity with supply chain metrics and continuous improvement principles.

Problem-solving and time management skills in a production environment.
