About the Role
Join our team as a Material Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in keeping production operations running smoothly. You’ll ensure materials flow efficiently, resolve issues quickly, and collaborate across teams to meet production goals. This position is ideal for candidates who are analytical, organized, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing supply chain environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure smooth material flow and availability using Lean Manufacturing, Demand Flow, Kanban, and Just-In-Time (JIT) principles.
Lead cross-functional issue resolution to support uninterrupted production.
Perform data analysis to identify and solve material or supply-related problems.
Create and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Communicate effectively with production, supply management, and logistics teams.
Support production efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Work overtime and weekends as required to support production demands.
Required Qualifications
Understanding of manufacturing concepts such as Kanban, JIT, Lean, and Demand Flow.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to resolve production issues.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment (open to recent grads with strong computer and analytical skills).
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP (Warehouse, Inventory Control, or Materials Management modules).
Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
Prior experience in supply management, operations, or production coordination.
Experience working within a unionized manufacturing environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Open to recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in material flow, planning, and manufacturing operations.
