EPT Health Education Intern

Essential Access is hiring an EPT Health Education Intern from October – December 2025.

The EPT Health Education Intern will provide support with conducting a focus group among young adults (ages 18-26) to gain an understanding on relevant health messages regarding information on chlamydia and gonorrhea. They will use findings from this focus group to make recommendations and develop health education materials on chlamydia and gonorrhea, which are the two most commonly reported STIs in LA County. 

The intern will gain experience identifying and evaluating health education materials. They will also present drafts of the materials with established committees to obtain feedback and join Essential Access staff in meeting with clinical partners. Additional tasks may be assigned based on the interests of the intern candidate.

This position is part-time and will span 3 months. The location for this position is hybrid with the option to work from the Los Angeles office in Downtown Los Angeles one or two days per week. Compensation for this internship $22/hour.
