Staff Attorney

We're Hiring: Attorney 
Location: Columbia, MO | Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule Available

True North of Columbia is seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Attorney to provide legal representation to survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual violence, sex trafficking, and stalking. This position offers the opportunity to make a powerful impact through trauma-informed legal advocacy in family law and related proceedings.

We are looking for an attorney who:
-Is licensed to practice in Missouri (or eligible by waiver/reciprocity)
-Has 1–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law
-Understands the importance of trauma-informed, survivor-centered legal services
-Can manage a diverse caseload and is committed to client safety and justice

Responsibilities include:
-Representing clients in divorce, custody, child support, and orders of protection
-Supporting survivors involved in related criminal proceedings
-Attending hearings and managing all phases of litigation

This is a hybrid position with regular in-person court and meeting requirements. Attorneys with fewer than five years of experience will receive mentorship and supervision.
