Outreach Coordinator

Education: High school diploma required. College degree preferred, along with 2- 4 years of experience in projection coordination, administration, or a related field. 

Skills: Strong administrative and organizational skills. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with Asana or similar task management tools preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Flexibility to support cross-departmental needs. Must have a thorough understanding of, and dedication to, the vision of Mercy Multiplied, along with demonstrated Christian work ethics.

Overview: The Outreach Coordinator supports the Outreach Department by managing communication and administrative functions for Mercy’s online events. This role supports departmental systems, nurtures relationships with churches and ministry partners, and ensures smooth execution of trainings and resources.

 

In the Outreach Coordinator position, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Outreach inbox and respond to inquiries.
  • Maintain Outreach-related Salesforce records in collaboration with Development and Treasury teams.
  • Cultivate relationships with pastors and church leaders through calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of church engagement.
  • Schedule and communicate with podcast hosts and guests.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for podcast-related needs.
  • Oversee Asana project management for MercyTalk podcast.
  • Maintain and update departmental procedures and communication templates.
  • Track expenses and assist with purchases (e.g., gift cards, honorariums).
  • Take meeting notes and follow up on action items.
  • Compile quarterly Outreach department board reports.
  • Track and report on online resource purchases.
  • Follow up with churches and participants to promote additional Outreach programs.
  • Manage logistics for online Ministry HQ-led events.
  • Coordinate registration and participant communication before and after events.
  • Schedule Guidelines Consultation calls and communicate with registrants.
  • Manage Asana projects and follow up on overdue tasks.
  • Request updates to Outreach web pages and manage content (e.g., testimonies).

 

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm In Office, Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Remote optional

Compensation: $21.50 - $24/hour

These residential services are offered free-of-charge. The Mercy Multiplied Center for Wellness and Counseling is Mercy’s free-of-charge Outpatient counseling Program for men and women aged 13 and older. Our Outreach Services train and resource men and women to effectively support and minister to those who are hurting and struggling through workshops, videos, podcasts, discipleship teaching, and other practical resources.
