Agriculture Field Representative Intern

Field Representative Intern

Seneca Foods in Hancock, WI is currently seeking a Field Representative Intern to join our team for the 2026 summer production season. 

This internship will gain hands on industry experience working with our location management team during our busy production season.

Responsibilities:

  • Data collection, data entry and data evaluation
  • Helps assist full-time field reps in the planting process, by helping deliver seed and learning proper grain drill and corn planter set up before planting. 
  • Maturity sampling of raw product to determine when the crop is ready to be harvested. 
  • Staking field entrances with field information.
  • Monitors growers' fields for crop health, weed growth & pest infestation.
  • Communicating with the pest control manager on what weeds or pests have been found while scouting
  • Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Attending 2 or 4 year college studying in soils, agronomy, agribusiness or a related field.
