RESURRECTED LIFE CHILDREN’S ACADEMY
WHO WE ARE: The Resurrected Life Children’s Academy is an Early Learning and Education Center providing children aged six weeks through school (5th grade) with diverse educational opportunities. We are a Children’s Center where every child is loved, nurtured, and accepted. We believe that all children possess the ability to learn and that this ability is fostered through meaningful relationships. Therefore, we strongly believe children must be placed in an environment where love lives. We are a four-star child care center under the PENNSLYVANNIA KEYSTONE STARS guidelines.

OUR VISION is to provide an Early Learning Childhood Center that fosters each child’s thirst for lifelong learning to create empowered families and transformed communities.

We seek caring and enthusiastic Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Teachers to join our team. If you are passionate about educating and mentoring children, working collaboratively with a team, and have a desire to learn and grow, we invite you to join our team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three years of childcare experience in a classroom environment.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency intending to continue education in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • CDA Certificate preferred.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license to assist with drop-off/pick-up of students
  • Ability to and carry at least 50 lbs. to assist children as needed and move equipment and materials.
  • Commitment to work with low-income families/children.
  • Demonstrated ability to practice and model the program’s educational philosophy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals and varying economic, educational, and cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Facilitate daily activities that promote learning and social interaction among children.
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices.
