Business Development Representative
LearnWell helps behavioral health hospitals by providing high-quality educational programs for school-age patients. Working closely with treatment facilities and the school district, we customize each patients studies to keep them on track academically.
We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative who can help us expand our academic services to hospitals and treatment facilities across the United States. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, you will play a crucial role in generating new sales leads and finding future clients by researching targeted inpatient hospitals, partial hospitalization programs, and residential treatment facilities while executing sales strategies in a fast-paced, team environment.
You must have proven success prospecting, generating leads, presenting company value propositions and closing on new business. You are creative, independent, and entrepreneurial. You are resourceful and utilize quick decision-making skills. You have a knack for influencing decision makers and engaging clients through quick conversations. You understand and convey urgency in order to drive action. You must be a self-starter, accountable, driven, ethical, and rejection proof.
Daily job responsibilities will include: research calls, adding contacts to our CRM, general research emails, discovery calls with targets to identify pain points, executing mass email campaigns, responding to replies from mass email campaigns, maintain a clean CRM, personalized emails when the ideal customer has been identified, and ultimately scheduling qualification meetings for account executives.
Monthly productivity expectations:
- 10 scheduled and completed qualification meetings

- Research calls
- Discovery calls
- Mass emails
- Personalized emails
Compensation & Benefits:
- $50,000-55,000 base pay
- Variable bonus potential based on personal performance of booking meetings for account executives
- 15 personal days and excellent benefits package
*Our company headquarters is within Plymouth, MA but position can be completed 100% remote at this time.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree required (sales or marketing preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a business development function
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Excellent phone, writing and listening skills
- Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow and excel in their role
- Interest in healthcare and/or education
- 20% travel commitment
