Associate Consultant - Functional

We are seeking entry-level Associate Consultants to join our team. In this role, you will help solve complex client business challenges and translate requirements into clear strategies and solutions. You will gain exposure to the Workday application, providing expertise and support that maximizes its efficiency and effectiveness for our clients.

 

This position is ideal for individuals with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills who are interested in business technology consulting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leverage firm resources and training programs to build a strong understanding of Workday functionality.
  • Participate in all phases of system implementations, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Assist clients in testing Workday HR, payroll, and financial transactions through unit, integration, regression, end-to-end, UAT, and parallel testing.
  • Document processes, solution designs, and integration flows using flowcharts, diagrams, and other visual tools.
  • Prepare end-user training materials and support documentation to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Configure system modules following established best practices and client requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues by identifying root causes in system configuration, integrations, or data, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancements.
  • Manage assigned tasks and deliverables using firm-provided project management tools and methodologies.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage senior business leaders.
  • Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to gather requirements, write clear documentation, and present findings or solutions effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to client needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s (or higher) is a plus.
