We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented College Marketing Intern to support our team and significantly contribute to the efficiency and functionality of our marketing and sales operations within the HubSpot platform.

 

Responsibilities

 

The Marketing Intern will work closely with our strategy and digital teams, focusing heavily on HubSpot execution and data integrity to enhance our client-facing capabilities. Key responsibilities include:

 

HubSpot Management & Operations

 

Data Integrity: Assist in the ongoing cleanup, deduplication, and standardization of contact and company data within the HubSpot CRM to ensure accuracy for segmentation and targeting.

System Configuration: Help manage and update Custom Properties, Forms, Workflows, and internal documentation within HubSpot to support new campaign launches and reporting needs.

Reporting Support: Assist the team in pulling and organizing core performance metrics (e.g., email open rates, form submissions, lead velocity) for weekly and monthly reports.

 

Content & Campaign Execution

 

Email Marketing: Support the design, scheduling, and deployment of email campaigns (newsletters, announcements) using HubSpot's Marketing Hub tools.

Landing Pages: Assist in building and updating basic landing pages and calls-to-action (CTAs) within the HubSpot CMS, ensuring mobile responsiveness and brand compliance.

Social Media: Schedule and publish content across our professional social media channels (LinkedIn, etc.) and track engagement metrics directly in HubSpot.

 

Research & Strategy Support

 

Competitive Analysis: Conduct targeted research on competitor marketing activities, content strategy, and digital footprints.

Lead Identification: Use HubSpot data and external tools to identify and segment potential clients (pharmaceutical, biotech, and research organizations) based on therapeutic area focus and diversity compliance needs.

Documentation: Create and update internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for common HubSpot tasks to train future team members.

 

Qualifications

 

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Science, or a related field.

Demonstrated foundational knowledge or experience with the HubSpot platform is required (e.g., completed HubSpot Academy certifications, use in a school project, or prior internship experience).

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis.

Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Interest in health equity, clinical research, or the life sciences industry is a plus.
