Abelle – Fashion Intern (Part-Time, NYC) PAID
Abelle is a New York-based atelier specializing in custom dresses and bespoke tailoring. Dedicated to craftsmanship, individuality, and the art of one-of-one creation, we are seeking a part-time fashion intern to join our team.
The Role
As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the bespoke process, from design and pattern development, artisanal techniques and fittings to atelier preparation and client appointments. You’ll work closely with our designer and master artisans, assisting in both creative and operational aspects of building a demi-couture brand.
Responsibilities
- Assist with tasks: fabric sourcing, R&D, fittings prep
- Support design development and sketching
- Help coordinate and assist client appointments and salon events
- Participate in social media & lookbook content support as needed
Ideal Candidate
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from Parsons, FIT, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for couture-level craftsmanship
- Proactive, positive, and eager to learn in an intimate atelier setting
