Location: Baton Rouge
Type: Full Time / 40 Hrs. per week (if you cannot work Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm you would not be a fit for this role)
Compensation: $40,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

Our Downtown Baton Rouge office is growing, and we’re looking for a confident, self-motivated Outside Sales Account Executive to help us connect with more local companies who need great people.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Getting out in the community, meeting with local businesses, and starting real conversations about how Express can support their hiring needs
- Cold calling (in-person and over the phone), warm calling, and face-to-face visits — whatever it takes to get leads flowing to our inside sales and recruiting teams
- Building relationships with business owners and decision-makers — not just selling, but solving problems
- Owning your sales territory and managing your day-to-day with independence
- Representing Express at networking events, community functions, and more to grow brand awareness
- Logging your activity and leads in our Express System (we’ll train you — it’s easy)
- Manage your schedule and daily route
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth handoff and excellent client service
What We’re Looking For:
- Sales experience is a plus but not required — we’re mainly looking for someone who can confidently be the face of Express in our market
- Must be comfortable working in all types of weather and able to navigate various environments, including climbing stairs and walking through warehouses, offices, and construction sites
- Great personality with strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people
- Hungry, driven, and eager to succeed
- Coachable, curious, and ready to learn about local businesses and industries
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to be a collaborative part of a team
- Organized with solid time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of the Baton Rouge business community is a bonus
