Baseball Events Intern

Prep Baseball (Northeast) has an opportunity for current college
level students looking to gain experience for a career in the sports event industry.
Applicants should be studying a subject in a relevant field such as, but is not
limited to, Sport Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, Exercise
Science and Physical Education.

 

Must be located in either PA, NY or NJ

Description:
● Event management
● Data entry
● Graphic design, Video editing
● Baseball technology operator skills
● Baseball scouting, analytics
● Communication and problem solving skills

Requirements:
● A love for sports, some knowledge of baseball is helpful – experience
preferred but not necessary
● Well-organized – we are an efficient organization and need to stay
organized to be successful
● Goal-oriented – like the players, we set goals and use them to measure
our success
● Ability to multi-task and work independently –we all chip in, and we need
people that can do the right thing without waiting to be told to do it
● Google drive proficient – with special focus on Google sheets and docs for
reporting and data consolidation

● Candidates must be prepared to work at events with a positive attitude.
Travel is required.
● HS Diploma and working towards a college degree required
● A minimum of 120 college credit hours required

Prep Baseball (Northeast), is the leading amateur baseball scouting/event company in
the Northeast region. Our company was designed to hold
showcase events throughout the Northeast to enable players an opportunity to be
seen by hundreds of college programs not only across the state but nationally. In
addition to this, we provide the largest social media platform which highlights
players throughout the high school and travel season exposing their baseball
skills on a daily basis to college and professional scouts.

Compensation: 
This internship will be compensated three different ways:
● Travel Stipends
● College Credits for in event training
● Remote hourly pay

Credit: 
College credit towards a major, minor or general elective may be earned.
