Recreation Program Coordinator - Events

Position Summary

We are hiring for the role of Recreation Program Coordinator - Events in the Parks and Recreation Department.

 


Essential Job Functions

  • Plan, coordinate, manage, and operate various Department-hosted events and programs. 
  • Coordinate & manage event tasks, including planning timelines, booking entertainment/vendors, coordinating staffing, & assisting with set up/tear down. 
  • Prepare and manage event budgets. 
  • Collaborate on sponsor acquisition, fulfillment, and activation. 
  • Promote the Recreation Division throughout the community, including developing marketing material & marketing events on social media. 
  • Represent department at various community activities. 
  • Supervise and direct assigned personnel. 
  • Ability to work extended and/or flexible hours, work evening and/or weekend hours.
