The hiring salary for this position is $60,500 per year.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Enrollment Manager is responsible for yield and enrollment of prospective students for The Culinary Institute of America (“CIA”). Yield and enrollment work is conducted via various types of communication, a high level of outreach, campus events, and strategic programs to ensure student enrollment. The Enrollment Manager works within a goal-oriented environment and uses multi-tasking ability to complete projects and concurrent priorities.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for development and implementation of a yield plan for accepted students that may include campus events, communication outreach to both students and parents, and strategic yield programs.
  • Supports all three (3) CIA domestic campuses for yield resulting in student enrollment throughout the academic year.
  • Communicates with accepted students, parents and supporters through phone, email, text and other types of personalized communications to guide and manage their advancement through the admissions funnel process.
  • Conducts CIA enrollment presentations to groups of students, educators, parents and other influencers to share information about CIA and build relationships.
  • Advises students on the value of a CIA education, comparative analysis of higher education institutions, financial aid process, award letters and additional opportunities for financial assistance.
  • Forms relationships and works strategically with other CIA departments who impact student enrollment.
  • Manages operational and recruitment expenses to approved budget.
  • Prepares and submits regular reports on the status of accomplishments and activities.
  • Responsible for working with Ellucian Recruit, Ellucian Colleague, Cadence, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an admissions counselor, sales or related experience.

Licenses / Certifications:

  • Driver’s License required with no more than one (1) moving violation in the past year.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum three (3) years of Admissions experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Financial Aid packaging.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills required.
  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to be adaptable, dependable and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong computer experience, which must include abilities to work effectively with MS Office suite products, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Must have the ability to grasp new computer programs.
  • Detail oriented and thorough.
  • Solid organizational skills to maintain appropriate follow-up and records of activity, as well as the ability to determine when situations require escalation or may be handled independently.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required due to business needs.
  • Must be able to travel domestically as required by business needs.
  • Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds of admissions recruitment materials.
  • Able to bend, stoop or reach as needed.
  • Regular work requires a great deal of sitting and standing for extended periods.
