Intern - Underwriting (West Bend and Madison - Summer 2026)
The role will assist in operations such as quoting new business, processing renewals, and contributing to various underwriting projects that impact profitability. The program also offers a broad view of our organization through cross-functional experiences with departments such as Claims, Loss Control, Accounting and Sales.
Additional opportunities include:
- Job shadowing with experienced underwriters to observe territory management and book-building strategies.
- Field visits with Loss Control specialists to understand risk evaluation in diverse business environments.
- Agency interactions to learn how underwriting decisions align with agent relationships and submissions.

Preferred Education and Experience
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably Risk Management & Insurance, Business or Math
(rising senior status in Summer of 2026 is highly preferred) - Intermediate knowledge of personal computers
