Selective’s Records and Information Management team is responsible for overseeing Selective’s policy, processes, and procedures to identify, maintain, preserve, and destroy records and non-record information as required by law, regulation, and business process. Exposure to a department like Records and Information Management provides students with valuable skills in data organization, compliance, and digital transformation, which are applicable across various majors and essential in today’s data-driven world. Please note, this is a hybrid position, therefore, applicants must be within commuting distance of our Branchville, NJ location.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts legal research and analysis of various insurance specific and related topics.
- Provides written and oral responses to queries.
- Filing, locating, pulling and classifying a variety of different materials.
- Assembling and arranging policies, documents, manuals, and presentations.
- Performing other duties in support of department or function assigned.
Knowledge and Requirements
- Must be a current college student to qualify (Class of 2026 preferred).
- Demonstrate an interest in learning about the insurance industry.
- Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is preferred but not required.
- College credit can be earned depending on your institution’s requirements.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma required. Ideal internship candidates will be full-time undergraduate college Juniors or Seniors, with the ability to perform at a professional level.
