Compliance Officer [2924]

Compliance Officer [2924]

Philanthropic organization seeks a permanent Compliance Officer to support the implementation and execution of grants.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain internal database and input grant documentation into system. 
  • Review grant letters and ensure all pertinent documentation is included.
  • Develop financial reports and ensure all documents are submitted in compliance with terms outlined in grant agreements.
  • Address any discrepancies and inefficiencies in grant making and execution process.
  • Track and report on compliance metrics.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating travel logistics.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Exemplary judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Works effectively both in a collaborative and independent working environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Mission-driven approach to work and strong commitment to company mission.
  • Understanding of grant-making process and procedures.
  • Excellent database management skills and experience using grants management software, such as Fluxx.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in grants administration or compliance. 

Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year.
