Operations & Back Office Manager
Location: Central Office - Chicagoland / Hybrid
Compensation: $85K–$115K + 10% Bonus + Full Benefits
We're looking for an experienced Operations & Back Office Manager to help build and run the centralized office for our fast-growing roofing and exterior remodeling company. This is a hands-on role building job processing workflows-contract → permit → scheduling → billing-and then growing into leading a team of 10+ that supports multiple markets.
What You'll Do
Manage and improve workflows for permitting, scheduling, billing, and job processing
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all back-office functions
Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance for seamless coordination
Track KPIs like permit turnaround, job cycle time, and job accuracy
Hire, train, and lead office staff as we expand
Support compliance, audits, and process automation
What We're Looking For
5+ years in operations, office management, or construction administration
Experience with permitting, inspections, or compliance
Skilled in workflow design and CRMs/job management systems (AccuLynx, ServiceTitan, Salesforce, etc.)
Organized, detail-oriented, and ready to build scalable systems
Leadership potential to grow into managing a team
Compensation
Base Salary: $85K–$115K
Bonus: 10% tied to throughput, accuracy, and cycle time improvements
