Innovation Planning Intern
Description
Organize and coordinate the resources and activities required to ensure delivery schedules are met for the design and manufacturing of new aerospace and space products within the design engineering department. Monitor the progress of engineering, manufacturing, and testing for those programs and provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers based on project status, engineering and manufacturing capacity, and program schedules.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Business or related field, on track to graduate in the next 24 months.
- Leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate and work well with others.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize and monitor inter-connected project schedules and resources.
- Identify long lead items, ordering the parts to support the program need date.
- Assist design engineers with developing and maintaining an accurate Master schedule.
- Prepare and distribute all required paperwork for jobs.
- Identify and report on the status of work in progress.
- Provide updates to engineering schedules and timelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
