Indiana Electric Cooperatives (IEC) is seeking a Creative Services Intern to join our Cooperative Relations team. This internship offers hands-on experience in graphic design, multimedia, and creative services supporting IEC and its member cooperatives across the state.

What You’ll Do

As a Creative Services Intern, you’ll collaborate with our communications team to deliver high-quality design and creative support. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing across print, digital, email, and social platforms.
  • Assisting with photography and videography for IEC and Indiana Connection magazine’s social media channels.
  • Supporting production of marketing collateral and branded materials.
  • Attending planning meetings with IEC staff and member cooperatives.
  • Researching design trends and applying them to IEC projects.
  • Organizing and uploading creative materials to IEC’s design portal.

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a BA/BS in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Communication, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator required; Photoshop a plus).
  • Basic experience with photography and videography preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Internship Details

  • Location: Indianapolis, IN (IEC headquarters)
  • Reports to: Vice President of Communication
  • Schedule: Part-time, 15 hours per week
  • Compensation: $15.00/hour
